BMSSA is an observer local committee of the International Federation of Medical Students' Associations Egypt (IFMSA Egypt), which is a full national member organization of the global IFMSA. It was officially recognized in 2024 as an independent medical student organization by the administration of the Faculty of Medicine, Benha National University.
As a separate entity, BMSSA operates with complete independence, meaning it does not belong to any Students’ Union nor does it follow or align with its activities by any means.
International
IFMSA is a global, student run organization representing over 1.3 million medical students across 120+ countries. Officially recognized by the World Health Organization, it empowers future physicians to collaborate on global health, medical education, and international exchange programs.
National
IFMSA Egypt is a non political, non profit student run organization representing medical students nationwide. As a full national member organization of the global federation, it empowers future physicians to lead health campaigns, improve medical education, and engage in international exchange programs.
